Cycle Speedway
Cycle Speedway meets on Cookson Park where we have an international standard track.

Why not come along and have a go. You do not need any safety equipment or even a cycle. All will be provided.
These are specialized bikes, which have no gears or brakes; a race consists of 4 laps of the track with 4 riders per race.
As part of this they also learn cycle safety and bike maintenance
Kids
The library holds colouring, reading, childrens passports Guitar Lessons. Have you any ideas for a new activity please call in.
Books for age groups and educational also reference books for information finding to help with school projects.
In school hols we do offer activities etc please call in to find out.
Always welcome young children, why not have a coffee/tea and let the children play with games toys available. Would really welcome mother & toddler group give us a ring.
We do have a group for children learning their native language (Kurdish) this runs Saturday morning 10am to 12 noon.
